My Fishing
Ever since I was old
enough to join my father & two grandfathers on my first fishing trips,
I've been obsessed with angling. I discovered bass fishing at the age of
13, and found that fooling largemouth & smallmouth bass with artificial
lures appealed immensely to my angling tastes. So, for the past 30 years
or so, I've been honing my bass-hunting abilities.
Though I'm up for
just about any form of fishing, to me there's just nothing like
tournament bass fishing. I love matching my skills with & learning from
the hundreds of fine bass anglers with whom I've competed with over the
years. I fished my first real bass tournament at age 13 in 1978, and
have competed in hundreds of tourneys since then ranging from small
"club" tournaments with 15 boats to huge national & regional tournaments
with 200+ boats. I've won some & lost a lot more, but regardless of the
outcome I've learned from & enjoyed each & every moment on the
water.
